EARLY HOLIDAY: Even in the midst of a pandemic and a changed NBA schedule, the Heat pushed through last week for the 29th Thanksgiving celebration, with former Heat players Alonzo Mourning,, Glen Rice i Shane Battier helping distribute 600 holiday meals in Overtown, as part of a team effort that expanded to Lake Lauderdale. Among the companies that helped in the effort were Florida Blue, Vico Painting, Goya Foods, FOX Sports Sun, Hairclub, One Sotheby’s International Realty and Papa John’s Pizza. Packages from South Florida were also distributed, including milk, protein, products and a range of non-perishable goods.
